Good Morning

TODAY WE FOCUS ON OUR VALUE OF SOLIDARITY WITH THE POOR.

“St. Francis had an encounter with a leper, a person who was considered to be unclean. Francis had always been afraid of lepers and stayed as far away from them as he could. But this time he walked toward the leper and kissed him.”

Is there a leper in my life? Someone I don’t like?

What can I do today to change that?

PRAYER

God of us all, teach us to recognize how we can best demonstrate our love for the poor.

Whether that means for those poor in spirit, in health, or in relationships.

Be with us to strengthen our resolve to respond to those in need.
