On-site medical resources let us provide a wider spectrum of care
Having healthcare expertise right at our facility lets us meet the medical needs of a wider range of residents and helps to ensure that any changes in health are noticed quickly and addressed effectively.
24/7 nursing care: Nurses are on site from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the week. Nursing Staff is on call at all other times.
Highly experienced nursing staff: Our resident care team includes nurses with decades of experience. This level of care is especially critical with an aging population whose health can change quickly and requires exceptional monitoring.
Regularly scheduled visits from physicians/podiatrist: This allows us to meet the health needs of residents at a variety of levels, especially those who are physically fragile. It also helps our staff to deliver outstanding care and ensures that our residents have ongoing physician supervision. Our physician is on-site weekly; our podiatrist visits monthly.
Clinical social worker: Villa’s clinical social worker has extensive experience working with seniors and administers a variety of assessments that help us determine mental health and cognitive status for each resident. She has exceptional knowledge of local care resources and works with our staff to determine the best ways to meet your loved ones’ care needs, by coordinating care using Villa’s resources and those of the larger community.
Massage therapist: Massage is an excellent way to improve circulation and treat a variety of medical conditions associated with aging including arthritis, bone and muscle deterioration, bursitis, tendinitis and respiratory problems. It can also be a good mental “pick-me-up.”
Partnerships: If a resident requires additional services to maintain their independence or live safely at our facility, we’ll partner with external resources to make sure they get the care they need. This can include home health, hospice, physical/occupational therapy, pharmacy, counseling and more.
