Good Morning

TODAY WE FOCUS ON OUR VALUE OF JUSTICE AND PEACE.

“The great teachings unanimously emphasize that the peace, joy and wisdom in the universe are already within us. We don’t have to gain, develop or attain them. We’re like a child standing in a beautiful park with our eyes shut. We don’t need to imagine trees, flowers, birds, deer and sky. We merely need to open our eyes and realize what is already here, who we really are.”

When it comes to making peace, where and when do I shut my eyes?

Is there some conflict that I need to clear up? No time like the present.

PRAYER

Today, Lord, we pray for all of our nurses and caregivers here at Villa St. Francis. Help them to keep their eyes open to the common good.

Give them peace in their own lives, in the lives of their families, their neighborhoods.

In Jesus’ name we pray.
